The new gTLD program has recently passed 1.6 Million domain registrations. This is great news considering that many people/businesses have still not heard of ‘New gTLDs.’ So which TLDs have the most registrations to date? Here are the top five:
- .XYZ with 343K registrations
- .Berlin with just over 137K registrations
- .Club with nearly 90k registrations
- .Guru recently surpassed 65k registrations
- .Photography just passed 41k registrations
So where do the rest of the New gTLDs fare? Eleven of the New gTLD’s have more than 25k registrations, 30 have more than 10k, and 63 have at least 5k registrations. Numbers do seem to be increasing steadily and it will be interesting to see where things stand at the end of 2014.
