Today, March 26th 2008, is the live launch date for first-come first-served .asia domain names.
Already more than 500,000 .asia domain names have been registered in the first three phases. If you have not yet ordered your .asia domain name, or require more information, please visit www.safenames.net and login to your account to place an order.
To register any .asia domain name, you are required to provide an Asian-based Address as your Administrative Contact. If you cannot supply this information, Safenames can offer its “Local Asia Contact” service at a greatly reduced rate of only $100, allowing you to secure the domain name you want. Registering a domain name during this period costs $50 for 2 years.
