On the 1st November the top level domain ‘.tw’ will be available for anyone to register, The domain works on first come first served basis, so do not delay and order your domains through Safenames.
The .tw second level domain name registration policy was approved by the 41st TWNIC Domain Name Committee meeting on June 28, 2005. TWNIC hereby announces that the second level domain name registration will be opened on November 1st, 2005 at noon based on Taiwan’s Time Zone.
- Application for the service may be filed by a company, business establishment, or legal entity that has been registered in the Republic of China, Taiwan, or in any other competent jurisdiction, or by any natural person. This basically means the domain can be regsistered.
Registration rights opened to the public:
- Except the Domain Names which have been applied by applicants during the
- pre-registration period, the TW English Second Level Domain Names Service shall be opened to the public and TWNIC shall follow the “first come, first serve” principle.
